On May 1st, Chief Quackenbush, President Graziosi, and other members of the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps presented AEDs to the American Legion Post #47, the VFW Post #8126 and the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #1564. A brief presentation was given on operating the AEDs. Chief Quackenbush commented, "AEDs save lives...we have seen it first hand. We hope that you don't have to use them, but know that they are there in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest." Formal training will be provided by our members to the organizations in the upcoming weeks.
